Sara Johansson is a national/international lecturer and author on the subject of modern crisis support; children and adults needs in overwhelming circumstances. She holds an MA in psychology with advanced specialisation in psychotraumatology from Gothenburg and Uppsala Universities. She had extensive emergency field experience from Syria, from tsunami disasters i South East Asia, from floods in Southern Pakistan, and from the immediate Oslo terrorist attack aftermath . Sara has previously been an advisor at the International Red Cross headquarters. In Sweden she has worked with families, children and adults with serious illness. Sara has a rare talent for integrating science and emotion in her lectures, articles and columns . Her lectures attract thousands every year. Sara strives to share facts about what helps humans in the most difficult and exposed situations; respecting exactly how complex and poignant these meeting really are. She is one of two authors to the book Krisstöd vid olyckor, katastrofer och svåra händelser: Att stärka människors motståndskraft (Natur & Kultur, 2013); a book used in many basic and advanced Swedish educations where people will come in contact with children and adults in crisis. To read more about Sara’s work (also in Swedish) see her Creative Mammals

“ Overwhelming situations are a part of life for us all. The good news is that often with relatively small measures we can make big differences i our fellow human’s lives” Sara Johansson

“ Sara Johansson
